Happy Seasons was founded in 2016 by two best friends from Denmark. The idea was simple: Christmas clothing is allowed to be fun. The quality shouldn't suffer for it.
Not a difficult choice.
Our designs are developed from start to finish by our own design team. The characters, colours, knit patterns and small details don't start out as a ready-made image from a catalogue.
So we don't buy a standard reindeer, put a logo next to it and then call it a collection.
Not our style.
For us, Danish design also doesn't mean everything has to be beige, minimalist and deadly serious. Sometimes the result is calm and classic. Sometimes Santa wears sunglasses. Sometimes the whole Christmas tree flashes.
That's design too.

Not everyone means the same thing when they search for a Christmas jumper.
One person wants a dark blue jumper with a calm snowflake pattern. Another wants a Santa, sequins, three colours of light and a joke that not everyone at Christmas dinner will appreciate.

A classic Christmas jumper
Classic styles combine colours such as red, dark green, navy, cream and grey with snowflakes, reindeer and traditional knit patterns.
They go well with jeans, chinos, a skirt or a shirt. That makes them work at the office, with family and at a slightly smarter Christmas dinner.
Festive. Not in fancy dress.
An ugly Christmas jumper
An ugly Christmas jumper doesn't have to be badly made. “Ugly” refers to the design. Not to the material, the seams or the fit.
Important difference.
This is all about bright colours, odd characters, puns, sequins and details that still stand out after the second glass of mulled wine.
How ugly is ugly enough?
That's up to you.
A Christmas jumper with LED lighting
In our LED styles, small lights are built into the design. They run on a removable battery pack.
Subtle? No.
Fun at a Christmas party? Absolutely.
If you mainly want a soft, breathable jumper for everyday use, go for an organic cotton style. If you want to walk into the room without introducing yourself first, LED lighting helps quite a bit.
What's actually in your Christmas jumper?
“Good quality” is easy to put on a website. It only gets interesting when it also clearly states what the product is made of.
We're not secretive about that.
100% GOTS-certified organic cotton
Many of our classic Christmas jumpers are made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton.
These styles are densely knitted and therefore feel sturdier than a thin party jumper. The cotton is soft, breathable and pleasant when you wear the jumper for several hours.
You'll notice.
Especially at the office, in a warm restaurant or during a long evening with family, breathable material is not an unimportant detail.
Recycled polyester allows for bright colours, detailed patterns and shape-retaining designs. The material generally dries quickly and suits lighter or more graphic styles.
It feels different from cotton.
Naturally.
Polyester and acrylic
Polyester and acrylic are mainly used for styles with strong colours, LED lighting, sequins or intricate 3D details.
A jumper with electronics simply has different requirements from a classic cotton jumper.
So not every Christmas jumper from us is made from organic cotton. We'd rather say that clearly than make a single material claim across the whole range.
The exact composition is always listed with the product.
A Christmas jumper for the office and Christmas drinks
For a normal working day, calm colours and classic patterns are usually the safe choice. They bring Christmas to the office without taking over the whole meeting.
Usually, anyway.
On Ugly Christmas Jumper Day, during a Christmas Jumper Day or at the Christmas party, you can turn the volume up. A big motif or a few LED lights turns ordinary jeans into a full Christmas outfit straight away.
Little effort. Big effect.
Do you work somewhere where everyone gets competitive as soon as a prize for the ugliest Christmas jumper is announced? Then don't start too cautiously.
For Christmas dinner, the Christmas market and family
A Christmas jumper works well at the Christmas market: warm enough for winter and festive enough for the first mulled wine.
Under a coat, a classic style is easy to wear. A cotton Christmas jumper also stays more comfortable when you go inside later.
Practicality counts too.
At Christmas dinner the jumper should look good, but it also has to cope with several courses and a long evening.
A tight fit may seem like a good idea at six o'clock.
After dessert, sometimes less so.
Christmas jumpers for the whole family
Many designs are available for women, men and children. That way the whole family can wear the same motif or choose styles from the same design world.
Matching doesn't have to mean identical.
For couples you'll find separate combinations in our Christmas jumpers for couples. A bit over the top? Perhaps. Fun in photos? Definitely.

Which size Christmas jumper do you need?
Not all our Christmas jumpers have the same fit. Some styles are unisex. Others have separate fits for women, men or children.
So do check.
Start with the size you normally wear and then look at the size chart on the product page. Ideally, compare the measurements with a jumper that already fits well.
Above all, measure:
the chest width,
the total length,
the sleeve length,
and, if needed, the width at the hips or waist.
Between two sizes? For a relaxed fit, it's usually best to choose the larger one.
A Christmas jumper is allowed to be comfortable.
Is the jumper a gift and the size turns out not to be right after all? Then you have 100 days to exchange it.

How to wash a Christmas jumper
Always follow the care label of the specific style. Materials and details differ.
The label wins.
In general, we recommend:
washing at 30 degrees,
turning the jumper inside out beforehand,
washing with similar colours,
using a mild detergent,
not tumble drying,
gently reshaping the jumper after washing.
After a short evening, the jumper doesn't automatically need to go in the washing machine. Airing it well is often enough.
Saves work too.
Washing a Christmas jumper with LEDs
Always remove the battery pack before washing. Then follow the washing instructions for the specific style.
No exceptions.
Let the jumper and all electronic connections dry completely before you reconnect the battery pack.
