Personal data
General
Personal data is any type of information that can in some way be traced back to you. When you use our website, we collect and process some of this data. This happens, for example, during normal use of the content, when you sign up for our newsletter, take part in competitions or surveys, register as a user or subscriber, use other services or make purchases via the website.
We usually collect and process the following types of information: a unique ID and technical information about your computer, tablet or mobile phone, your IP number, geographic location and which pages you click on (interests). To the extent that you explicitly give consent and enter the information yourself, the following is also processed: name, telephone number, email address, address and payment details. This will usually be in connection with creating a login or making a purchase.
Security
We have taken technical and organisational measures to prevent your data from being accidentally or unlawfully deleted, made public, lost, damaged or becoming known to unauthorised persons, misused or otherwise processed in breach of the law.
Purpose
The data is used to identify you as a user and to show you the advertisements most likely to be relevant to you, to record your purchases and payments, and to provide the services you have requested, such as sending a newsletter. We also use the data to optimise our services and content.
Retention period
The data is kept for the period permitted by law and we delete it when it is no longer needed. The period depends on the nature of the information and the background for storage. It is therefore not possible to give a general time period for when information is deleted.
Disclosure of data
Data about your use of the website, which advertisements you receive and possibly click on, geographic location, gender and age segment, etc. are passed on to third parties to the extent that this data is known. You can see which third parties are involved in the "Cookies" section above. The data is used for targeted advertising.
We also use a number of third parties for the storage and processing of data. These only process data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
Personal data such as name and email, etc. will only be passed on if you give your consent. We only use data processors in the EU or in countries that can adequately protect your data.
Access and complaints
You have the right to know what personal data we process about you. You can also object to the use of the data at any time. You can also withdraw your consent to the processing of data about you.
