Why elastane is useful

Children rarely sleep the whole night neatly in the same position. They turn, move and sometimes wake up sideways in bed.

Many of our jersey Christmas pyjamas are therefore made from 95 % GOTS-certified organic cotton and 5 % elastane.

The cotton feels soft and breathable. The elastane makes sure the fabric moves with the shoulders, hips and knees.

Soft jersey

Jersey is light, breathable and stretchy. It is suitable for warmer bedrooms, active children and children who move a lot in their sleep.

The fabric stays supple while sleeping, sitting and playing.

Practical, then.

Warm flannel

Flannel is more densely woven and holds more warmth. It suits cooler bedrooms and children who quickly feel cold in winter.

The fabric is suitable for cold Christmas mornings and quiet winter evenings.

For Christmas morning and pyjama day

A children's Christmas pyjama suits Christmas morning, a Christmas breakfast, sleepovers and possibly a pyjama day at school or nursery.

If the school agrees.

On Christmas morning, the pyjamas have to cope with breakfast, presents, playing and a family photo.

Then back to playing.

A soft, flexible fabric is no unnecessary luxury then.

Giving a Christmas pyjama as a gift

Compare chest width, length, sleeves and trouser legs with a pyjama that fits well now.

Is the child between two sizes? Usually choose the larger one.

How to wash a children's Christmas pyjama

Children's clothes get dirty. That is not in the small print.

Always follow the care label of the specific style.

wash at 30 degrees,
turn the pyjamas inside out beforehand,
wash with similar colours,
use a mild detergent,
do not use a tumble dryer,
gently reshape the pyjamas after washing.

This keeps the colours, cotton fibres and elasticity looking good for longer.
